After years of living in Marion, we moved all of two miles to the Village at Plumb Corner. One of the nicest surprises is being close to the center of town and listening to the church bells ring. There have been gatherings of the folks who make up Phase 1 at the Clubhouse, which has a comfortable and inviting great room. The exercise room can be a good alternative on days where the weather is not favorable to walking around the circle. There is also a four-mile loop just outside of the entrance
on town roads that offer a fairly flat bike ride. An abundance of songbirds, woodpeckers and the occasional deer and red-tailed hawk can be seen; as we abut a nature preserve.
